Frequently Asked Questions

  • We offer e-Gift vouchers that are available for any amount. They can be purchased either in person, by e-mail, or by telephone. We will then send over a digital voucher to you.

  • Yes! We also offer the ‘dog menu’ snacks at the bar, and have plenty of water bowls at your request.

  • There is a pay and display car park opposite The Fountain Inn. If you are dining with us, you do not need to pay; please ask at the Bar and we can provide a paper permit which will be valid for the entirety of your stay. The permit must be displayed on the dashboard of the vehicle. We are unable to accept responsibility for any fines or tickets issued.

  • Both our main entrance and side entrance have a small, angled step which are unfortunately unable to accommodate a ramp - making wheelchair accessibility limited.

    We also do not have any bathroom facilities on the ground floor; all our bathrooms are on the first floor accessible only by stairs.

    Some of our seating area is upstairs, so please specify on the notes of the booking if you need to be seated downstairs.

    Our staff are more than happy to help if you have any further questions, or if would like to plan how we could support your accessibility during your visit.

  • Yes! We have a small upstairs terrace area for dining and drinks.

  • We always recommend booking a table to guarantee your space, but we are more than happy to take people who walk in without a reservation if we have availability.

  • You are welcome to come in just for drinks; we have a sofa in the bar area for two, and a Lounge for groups upstairs. The Lounge is also used for functions and may not always be available. You are welcome to check with us in advance to confirm if it is open.

  • Yes, our young accommodates up to 20 people, and our upstairs restaurant can be tailored to seat up to 35. Please see our page ‘The Lounge’ for further information.
